North Downs Primary School Garden Club
We meet every Tuesday after school in term time as one of the
extra curricular activities.
Last year was very successful, despite the weather.
The Club won a cup at the Horticultural Show in June
2010. This was for their sweet peas - a wonderful
achievement. Potatoes and herbs were also
entered.
During November broad beans were sown and are doing well.
Thanks to Morrisons garden vouchers the Club now have a cold
frame as well as a good selection of tools.
