Knitting with Trefoil Guild
Knitting with Horley Trefoil Guild
We do a huge range of activites at guides, which include doing
crafts playing games and learning about different cultures and
periods of times.
One evening we were working toward our Adventure Challenge 100
year cenetnery badge, and the theme was 'ice cold'. As a guiding
unit we chose to knit a blanket for keeping us warm in the
blistering cold weather.
At this unique guide meeting several members of the trefoil
guild came to teach us the talent of knitting. They enjoyed
teaching us and sharing their stories from their inspirational
guilding experience , either as a knowledgable guide, brownie or
leader.
All of the guides love to get involved and have fun even if the
activity is not their favourite thing. Not only do the guides get
involved so do the leaders and helpers!
