***Youth Cafe Xmas Party***

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Christmas Party. This was a great success. A big thank you to Noize who played a great set, and to all the adults who helped organise this event.

***Mobile Phone Recycling***

Did you or anyone in your family get a new mobile for Xmas or in the sales?
What did you do with your old mobile?

Did you know that last year 8M mobiles went to landfill in the UK and it is estimated that 64M old, unused or broken mobiles are sitting forgotten in peoples' homes.

Brockham Youth Council are working with a specialist company called Forgotten Mobile who recycle mobile phones on behalf of voluntary & community groups and return 75% of the money back to us to use for our projects.

If we can collect 200 phones we should be able to raise £1,000 which will pay for the table tennis and art projects we have planned this year. We have got off to a good start and so far have collect 45 phones!

So, do you have an old, or even a broken, mobile lying unused in a drawer? Have you kept an old mobile just in case you might need it? If you do, please would you consider donating it to our fundraising effort?

Mobiles can be brought to the Youth Cafe on Weds at the Village Hall club between 5-7pm or you can email us on clare.ritchie2@btinternet.com and we will come and collect. Many thanks!
