YOUTH CAFE

Wednesdays, 5.00 - 7.00pm

 Brockham Village Hall Club

One of the things young people have said that they would really like in the village is somewhere  good to meet up with friends and socialise.

Brockham Youth Council have been working to open a youth cafe and we are very pleased to announce the launch of the project from Wednesday 11th May at the Village Hall Club.

There will be a trial run of a youth cafe evening throughout May and June when the Village Hall Club bar will be open just for young people aged 11-18yrs to use each Wednesday between 5.00 - 7.00pm.

They can come down and meet friends, have a soft drink, crisps and sweets. The club has a TV, pool table and dartboards as well as a music system and jukebox. Anyone aged 11-18yrs who wants to come and try out the youth cafe can just pop down.

The Village Hall Committee are kindly providing staff for the bar but the running of the cafe is being organised through a volunteer parent rota. The more people who are able to help, the less each person has to do! If you feel able to help in any way please call Clare Ritchie on 01737 844953 or email clare.ritchie2@btinternet.com
