Fund Raising
Despite the awful weather, the following events raised Brockham Bonfire £1,100, Teas on the Green £217 and The Christmas post £81.70
As part of the Scouts’ service to their local community. This year’s chosen charity is the Children’s Trust at Tadworth, as supported by the Spa which kindly hosted the post box.
Beaver update
A big welcome to the new Beaver leader, Ruth Shepherd, who started this term, helped by a rota of parents. Ruth picked up the reins from Charlotte when she returned to University.
007 Update
After Summer camp, the bus faced its dreaded MOT, and ...was given a clean bill of health. The renovated staircase and seats look fantastic, and it’s been steam cleaned underneath. Next jobs are to replace the window seals and finally remove the layers of “touch up paint” to have a full re-spray.

Yes, the current committee is getting on a bit...as in their boys are all on the verge of / have left Scouts!
