Neighbourhood Watch
Neighbourhood Watch Brockham
Currently we have had a number of watches running in Brockham
in various streets. I would like to see Neighbourhood
watch grow in Brockham and would like to make the suggestion that
we seek to bring in all households in the village into a scheme so
that the whole initiative is open to all. In order to
achieve this there would be a letter explaining what we are seeking
to achieve and asking if residents wished to opt out of such a
scheme rather than opt in. Useful crime prevention books could then
be issued to all and we would seek to use existing village
communications to keep people appraised of what is going on.
The task of letter issue and indeed book issue would need some
assistance. I would like to make a call for volunteers for these
tasks and indeed a note from any volunteer who would like to join a
small team to look after the future of the watch. Please
